My husband has never smoked in his life... he uses marajuana in oil form. He has been taking caps for the past almost two years, is on keytruda (1 1/2 yrs), healthy diet and an amazing attitude. His tumour is either gone or too small to see, one liver lesion gone and the other shrunk to more than half its original size (they think now it may be scar tissue), and his adrenal and lymph nodes are normal...oh and his ste...

Hi Aditya There is no cost to us for the clinical trial.. as a matter of fact the drug company gives us a few dollars per visit. It is for two years and then should he need after the trial ends, another year for free. So until trial is over, we won’t know the cost. He hasn’t had any side effects really except a bad bout of diarrhea several months ago. I truly believe everything is working together...pembro, canna...

Hi My husband was dx March 2016 with adenocarcinoma, Mets to the liver, swollen adrenal gland, swollen lymph node and a possible spot on lung. Hi Steve Not sure if you are directing this to me.... I really haven’t looked into proton therapy or carbon ion therapy. We will probably look into other options down the road should the keytruda cause issues... we have been busy settling back into our home as we have been away for treatment for the winter but now the weather is better we fly back and forth every three weeks... tiring but a must. We also just cele...

Hi Steve...sorry to hear that you had to join this club. It is a very scary dis-ease and I remember why it was like when my hubby was first diagnosed. We were in such shock nd went into high gear but that only made us confused nd overwhelmed. He was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma , two Mets to the liver, swollen lymph node and adrenal gland. Our GP suggested having a stent and enjoying what life he could but we wante...
