    Hi All My 36 year od husband has been diagnosed with urachal cancer affecting lymph nodes in pelvic, chest and neck area. Doctor says removal of lymph nodes is not going to be effective. Any similar experiences, or any inputs would be much appreciated

      Hi All My 37 year old husband was diagnosed with Stage 3 Urachal cancer- neuroendocrine adenocarcinoma, a year back. The cancer had spread to the bladder, but disappeared after intense radiation. Chemo is on, and several lymph nodes are affected. The doctor says removal of lymph nodes won'thelp. Any similar experiences, or thoughts? Also, any success to share regarding treatment of neuroendocrine tumours with KRAS ...

        Hi my4jewels My husband has 2 types of cancer cells (neuroendocrine+adenocarcinoma), which respond differently to chemo and radiation.adenocarcinomas responded quite well to radiation in my husband's case, however didnot respond much to chemo. vice versa holds for the neuroendocrine ones. would suggest you get your tumour types diagnosed, so that you can have various treatment options in case you hve multiple types...

          hi all my 37 year old husband was diagnosed with urachal cancer stage 3 about a year and a half back. It had affected his bladder, and a few lymph nodes especially in the pelvic region. upon radiation, the bladder tumours went away, and the lymph nodes reduced significantly. our doctor advises against the removal of the affected lymph nodes saying that it wont make a difference. however i have read of cases where th...

            hi all, my husband was diagnosed with the abovementioned about a year and a half back. he has been through a lot since then. various chemos, intense radiation. ita painful for me to see him like this,and its affecting my mental stability. i love him too much and cant picture him in pain.. we also have a 5 month old daughter. really dont know what the future holds for us. any inputs or tips would be appreciated.
