      just a little update on where my husband is at now.  He had the results of his mri scan which happened in July  and his oncologist is very happy with his results...his tumour hasnt grown any further and there is no brightness or swelling around it...so he will finish his 6 month chemo in November and will have routine scans after that...what a year it has been, under no illusion that it may return but for n...

        My husband has finished the dual combination of chemo and radiotherapy and is on a 4 week break.  He will be starting up chemo again taken orally 1 week on 3 weeks off for the next 6 months and we are still awaiting for an appointment for another scan.  But what I wanted to know has anyone lost confidence in nearly everything thing they do...He is adjusting to the partial loss of his eyesight on the rhs...p...

            my husband was diagnosed with Stage IV glioblastoma in February and is about to finish his 6 week Radio/Chemo treatment and start the maintenance chemo at the end of May...he has remained very positive throughout and both are anxiously waiting for an appointment to get a ct scan...so will be interested in hearing from others too. hugs dee

                Hi my husband was diagnosed in February this year and is into his fifth week of radiotherapy and chemo....he also had two brain surgeries in january and beginning of february this year...so can understand how terrifying this all is to you...just stay strong and there are some wonderful people on this site to help you through this. take care hugs dee

                    oh Monica i am so so sorry to hear that...unbelieveable...so quickly too...my thoughts and prayers are with you both at this sad time....suppose you can take some comfort in that, that he will go peacefully and pain free...dont know what to say now...huge hugs to you....take care dee
