Haven't been here since my Rusty went home to be with our Lord and Savior.  It's been 3 weeks and I had my worse week yet last week.  I rejoice that Rusty is healed and happy but miss him so.  I am so sorry so many are going thru the same sadness, the beast keeps taking our wonderful loved ones.  I too am sorry to see so many new ones joining our family.  I pray for all of you but as so many ...

My "first and last" love was called home by his Heavenly Father May 13, 2011.  I had dreaded Friday the 13th coming knowing it would probably fall on that date.  He was taken at 11:19p.m. My warrior went peacefully and without pain.  My life will never be the same without him but the Lord will catch me when I fall. All of your presence in my life during Rusty's journey with the beast have made life l...

My warrior is home after 4 days in the hospital and 2 weeks at a Home Care Facility for respite care.  We got home at 10:45 a.m. Thurs. and our Hospice (another county was recommended) at 11:00 a.m.  It always takes a day or two after transport for my hubby to settle in another surrounding.  Hospice nurse came Friday, changed all of his dressings from skin tears, bathed him, changed linens , ...

Today my warrior made his last visit to his NO.  So difficult, love our people at Duke's Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center.  Our dr. explained to my hubby he wants in to go to an in patient Hospice facility.  He agreed to try it even though he thought he was going home after a two week respite at a facility in our town.  He knows it is for termially ill patients.  The Lord has bles...

I don't even know how to respond to so many of you posting such love and support for Rusty and me.  All of you help me so much even as tears come as I read.  I love my Lord and my warrior is part of his plan.  I hate to admit he is very anxious these last few days and I'm giving him Diazapam more than ever.  Never as much as the dr said he could have, just twice a day for two days.  He never ...

While in the hospital the past week we found out from an MRI that my hubby's tumor is progessing and he is declining.  Dr has now saying we have about 2 months, but with the blood clot, his heart history and tumor progession we never know.  Only the Lord knows the day he will call my Rusty home or intervene.  Rusty is worrying alot now about me and I am still trying to let it sink in he is at the end.&...

My Rusty went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 13,(Friday) 2011. I miss him terribly but he is healed and happy now. He fought the battle like a true warrior, diagnosed 10/20/2009 on his 60th birthday. My post over the past 6 months let you know how our last months were. I was so blessed to have him as my husband and best friend. Prayers are lifted for all of you daily who are going thru this journey and those who's warriors have left you. Bless you, Jane
