    My husband was diagnosed with Stage 3 EC in March 2011. It had metastisized to several lymph nodes. He has been in and out of chemo and radiation for 6 years. Over that time it has moved to other nodes and now his skin. He never had any surgery. He is considered stage 4 now and was placed on hospice care 2 months ago.       My husband has been diagnosed with metastases to his skin. The affected area area is the same area that had received radiation 2x in the past.         My husband was diagnosed with stage IIIc EC exactly 5 years ago this week. He had a short bout with food getting stuck basically just two or three times. He went to the doctor who suggested and endoscopy. They found a tumor near the GE junction. Further tests showed spread to lymph nodes far away in neck and under arm areas. He had just chemo first in 2011 then when it came back in 2013 he had chemo and radiation. In...

          Husband also has/had no problems swallowing with stage IIIc adenocarcinoma. I always have heard terrible stories about not eating or being able to swallow. It seemed weird that he even had cancer with no symptoms. Don't get me wrong, we are blessed and thankful but also questioning and confused.

            My husband was diagnosed in March 2011 with stage IIIc EC adenocarcinoma in the lower esophagus at the GE junction. He had lymph node involvement. No surgery. He did well with just chemo.
