Sorry to hear about that. Are you located in USA or Australia? I was diagnosed with ET in 2006. Luckily, my husband had already a life insurance on my life. Therefor I do not know what my insurance company would do. It sounds that there is no longer a reason to refuse you a life insurance. Sometimes you get straight answers if you involve your member of Parliament. Good luck, I hope that you do get the insurance. Gre...

What is the name of the cream that you use for hand and feet? I have not yet needed to use any special cream. I began with Cabozantinib at the end of March, but i stopped twice now for about 2 weeks, because of mouth ulcers. Do you have problems with mouth ulcers and take anyrhing special for the mouth ulcers? For a couple of weeks I can handle the mouth ulcers with kenalog, but i need ro stop for about 2 weeks, aft...

I am sure too that you will enjoy looking after Sophia now and in years to come, like your husband would like. Your husband will live in your heart forever, never to be forgotten. Dear 'loveurself', how sad your news is, but this is what you wanted for him. Peacefully leaving this world, in your arms. Your pain is still raw. His passing just happened. I admire you and your husband. I could not just wait for death to come, but then again, I do not know what will happen when it is my turn and how I will react. Please, be kind to yourself. It takes time to adjust to a life without your love. No d...

Being against radiation and chemo limits your options to treat the tumours. However, I used over the last 2 years Opdivo or Nivolumab which is an immunotherapy drug that is infused on a fortnightly basis. Would you agree to trying that treatment? Discuss it with your oncologist, what else does he suggests? I was diagnosed with RCC stage IV in 2011 and with the help of radiation, chemo and immunotherapy I am still al...

Hi, has anyone any experience with Cabozantinib for treatment of well-advanced and metastasised Renal Cell Carcinoma. I was diagnosed in 2011 and after the different treatments available, like Sutent, Pazopanib, Axitinib, removalof affected kidney, the radiation treatments, Cyberknife, Nivolumab( immuno-therapy), and personalised cancer vaccine trial (all keeping the cancer under control for a certain time until prog...
