Wow, you have an amazing story.  Just reading your message made me feel so positive.  Thank you and best wishes! I can't wait to hear my Doctor tell me I am cancer free! It is going to happen!

Amen to that!  I feel the same way and will fight the fight to the bitter end.  Best wishes to you!

Hello, Three months ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.  I am a 52 year old female and am a 16 year breast cancer survivor.  This is a new cancer and not related to the breast cancer.  Pretty bad luck I'd say.  Yep, I was angry at first but i am going to fight the fight again!

I am currently on my 6th round of 5-FU, Irinotecan, and Vectibix.   My onc says I have two more rounds to complete then i should be in remission and will stay on the Vectibix.  (for how long I don't know)  I have had my first scan and it showed significant shrinkage of the tumors on my liver.

Each round of chemo (every 14 days) is completely different.  Some have been bad and some have been not as bad.

Right now my biggest burden is the skin rash on my face and neck from the Vectibix.  It is not painful anymore, but my face feels like sandpaper.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the vectibix rash and if is eventually goes away.  My onc does not seem too concerned with the rash and actually said that the rash is a good sign that it is working well.
