So sorry that you have received such bad news.  A strict ketogenic diet has had some success in shrinking brain tumors and could buy some time, although not a "cure".  Search on youtube for presentations by Thomas Seyfried PhD for more info.  There is also a FDA approved device called Optune for delivering radiofrequency waves to brain tumors, and has been proven to be effective in extending survival. ...

Considering that chemo can make the cancer more aggressive, resistant to future treatment, and damage the immune system,  I would not accept chemo for stage 2 cancer pre-operatively.  And this is not even considering that the aggressive chemo will likely make him feel awful and possibly damage organs.  Seems that surgery is safer with an undamaged immune system and organ function!  But this is jus...

I agree with the juicing and vitamin D suggestion.  If your brother can understand the importance of minimizing animal products, that would be really helpful too, strong correlation with colon cancer and harder to digest. I would also suggest Essaic tea if your brother can tolerate the green taste, it is a time tested herbal formula, and even if it doesn't result in remission, it should help with overall wellbei...

So sorry to hear about your husband.  As you seem to be aware, there is little that can be done for stage 4 cancers by conventional medicine, and no way to know how things will progress.  I am not at all "anti-conventional treatment" but I do believe that Integrative/alternative medicine can offer more hope for stage 4, including dietary changes and supplements that you can do at home, if travelling to an i...

Merhaba,  I am not sure where you live in Turkiye, and if you know that there is an integrative clinic in Istanbul staffed by fully qualified oncologists.  The website is chemothermia.com.

Hello, I do not have personal experience with the Greek Test, but it is relied upon by many practitioners and is thought to be accurate.  A highly experienced MD that I interviewed in Mexico uses it routiinely and finds it helpful to avoid wasting peoples money on therapies that are not effective.  In her book "Mum's not doing chemo", Laura Bond describes her mothers successful experience with the test. &nb...

Yes!  There is plenty of hope for you!  Of course I don't know the details of your prior treatment, but know that chemo and radiation can cause secondary cancers.  Chemo is typically only palliative for stage 4 cancer, rather than curative, and can make cancer more aggressive.  Chemo doesn't kill the stem cells that are responsible for metastasis.  I agree with looking at nutritional and inte...

Hello, sorry to hear about your mom.  Calorie restriction is known to create a reduction in tumor size, so since you mention that she has lost weight, this could be why there is no progression of disease.  Since you have quite reasonably opted against conventional treatment, you may want to consider some alternative therapies to slow things down even more.  Good Luck!

Hello, suggest you go to Alternative therapies thread.  The vegan, mostly raw diet is the most popular diet for healing cancer, with small amounts of whole grains and beans often included.  Veggie juices are an important part of this method and she would need a juicer. The ketogenic diet (very low carb, high fat, moderate protein) is very popular right now, based on mostly theory, with few cancer survivor t...

Hello, I spent two days at the Biomedical Center/Hoxsey clinic last year, meeting the patients, staff, and observing the clinic operations.  I truly believe that their "heart" is in the right place, and they are not trying to milk people for their money.  The price is very reasonable, and I met people who did not have cancer, but went there for their annual physicals.  All the patients seemed to know s...
