So, ...  it could be the surgery that caused it?  Was your surgery robotic or thoracotomy?  I am taking pepcid, pantoprazole, sucarafate, zofran and sleeping sitting up. I am so nauseated a lot of the time that I can't function and I belch constantly.  I just had my surgery the end of October, was barely back to work and this started?!! Does the panoprazole do it for you?  Because I can har...

Thanks for the fed back. It is now 12/20 and I am going back to work next week.  But honestly I don't know if I am going to do well with it or not.  I only work part time, and they are forgiving so if i have to make another plan I will.  I don't know, maybe I should take more time? I guess I will find out next week?

I guess I don't have this set up right or something, because it didn't notify me that there was a reply??? I really appreciate your post.  I have been feeling like I should be better than I am.  I still work part time and trying to decide when to go back to work?  I have kind of said that I will go back after Christmas, that will make it 2 months. But am having a real problem with wearing a bra. ...

I am 70 years old.  I had a lobectomy on Oct. 26, I had the drainage tube out on the third day and came home from the hospital on the fourth day.  That was 4 to 5 weeks ago. I still don't feel like I can go back to work. I still have quite a bit of pain. I get so fatigued out of the blue it seems, that I have to just lay down and rest. I never know when it is coming? I can't trust myself to commit to doing ...

I am also hypothyroid and have been on thyroid medication for 30 years, but I take Armour Thyroid.  I have been on Omeprezole for years now and it has done it for me. But, I recently had a lobectomy and all of the meds, painkillers, stool softeners, and a lot more, have just torn my stomach up. I am just like you are describing. I have stopped all medications, except my thyroid and Omeperzole and wellbutrin...

I think that you are going to have to let your doctor explain it to you.  All I know about it,  is that anything over a 2.5 is considered suspicious for malignancy. And that there are a lot of reasons that an area can show over a 2.5 that are not malignancy. Like... I have gall stones and those showed but they knew what they were. Like that.   I know that it is hard not to try to understand it yo...

Marti152,  I somehow missed your post, I guess?  I am now almost a month out from surgery, I finally had to get off all pain medication, it was causing stomach problems big time, for me. Once off of it, I realized that my level of activity had a lot to do with the pain meds. So, once I started to really feel the discomfort and pain, I was not so productive.  I think that it is getting better, but I ...

They always deny every one the first time.  You have to appeal the denial!  Get an attoney! They will take the case on a contingencey basis. My son has been in this mired mess of a system for over 3 years now. First time denial is always how it works, you must appeal!!!
