I dont normally do the whole discussion board thing but I am lost and need advice. My mother is 53 years old and just found out yesterday that she has stage 3 pancreatic cancer. They did a PET Scan and found her whole body glowing, which means the cancer has reached her lymphatic system. The only thing that throws this whole sitatuation of as well is that she has stage 1 leukemia in her bones. so what is shining ccould be that, but they are afraid to do another biopsy of her lymphnode in case it spreads more. She has come to terms with everything and will do chemo if the pancreatic cancer has not spread and what is shining is the leukemia. If in fact the cancer has spread she will opt out of chemo and just try to live as long as she can. My mom has been sick since i was 7 with Lupus, Rheumtoid Arthritis, Her blood does not couagluate and anmia. So I wonder if its even worth fighting anymore? She has had so much pain for 20 plus years and adding this is the cherry on top. Should I let her go and support her, Im nly 26 with no siblings.... I dont want to lose my mom so young. Any advice, suggestions or anything would help. Thank you
