    I am 11 months post treatment..and fatiuge is terrible...but i know that it will take awhile...the chemo destroyed me more i believe.. its true we go to hell, now we have to come back..but we are still here so that is the main thing..

      So at my last onc visit..did a scope and was NED...yesterday I found 2 lumps ,growths, under my tongue..were not there last month...i dont want to be that patient who freaks out but i am...they have grown in 1 month.. looks like SCC cancer pic ...but on dr google...just afraid

        I know you have many replies on this site...I can only tell you what has happened to me...It has been a little over 1 year since I was dx with stage 4 SCC , mine was HPV+, which is probably why I am still here and fighting this fight.  You have to believe in your team, get doctors who you want to take the treatment as far as they can...prognosis is different for all of us..mine spread to multi lymps but no mets....

            When i got mine removed i was already for quick out patient proceedure...nurse came in ..prep me ..she deflated baloon and out it came...took 5 seconds!! Now my scar looks like Iron man arc reactor!!!  My wife says i am a superhero now..lol..  but we all are on here!!

              Congrats!!  That gives me hope! I am 10 months post ... struggling with side effects but I am pushing through one day at a time. It is because of people like yourself and every survivor on here that make us feel better about this terrible disease.  So glad for you!!!

                i am 9 months post treatment, ( 33 rads/7 chemo )  I say I have about 50 % of my taste back,  sweets are a no go which is probably a good thing... chocolate taste like wax!!! but I get by.  I try everything... anything is better than ensure!!!!! When I got my tube out trying food was great. You don't realize what you take for granted until you get through treatment and can't do the things you once did,...

                  Hell, I am 9 months post treatment from stage 4 tonsil canoer...33 rads/7 chemo...first scanNED??..for the last couple months i have been getting sores in my nose that just wont heal...they scab over then come right back..i know i  shouldnt worry because that doesnt get us anywhere...has anyone had any side effects like this??  One note...i read over my first PET scan and maxilary sinus showed concern docto...

                      Hello, i am 6 months post treatment from stage 4 tonsil cancer...33 rads/7 chemo cisplatin...i have terrible peripheral neuropathy..taking gabipentin, glutamine,..nothing working..docs say they hope it will get better with time...or they say may never go away..how do you deal???
