We're blessed. . .he's feeling and looking great. We continue to pray for his remission. Please...

Zelboraf will cross the blood brain barrier and thank God it does. It's for the BRAF mutation which is diagnosed by a brain biopsy. They should have pathology from your husbands previous surgery. WBR didn't work for my son in law either. He started with 14 tumors and after 18 rounds they didn't budge and more grew. He's lucky that all other scans are negative for disease and he's only dealing with the brain. Tomorrow...

Thank you for your reply; good to hear. Glad your boyfriend is doing well. We are dealing with brain only at this time. He also started on the max dose five days ago. Feeling better already but has a bit of double vision. Oncologist says it will improve. However, he is SO anxious to get back to work and of course can't until this clears up. My name is Nina.My son in law has stage 4 melanoma with brain metastasis. It started with a spot on his back in 2009. Wide wedge ressection was done at that time; borders were negative. March of this year they found 14 brain tumors. Fortunately all other scans were negative so he's just dealing with the brain. WBR failed. He started Zelboraf and has been on it three weeks now with good success. Feels great. We stay positive for remission. . .God Blees you all that are dealing with this awful disease.
