Hi Steve48 It's been a while since I've posted.  Am very happy to report that after 6 rounds (I think) of chemo, my auntie is now in remission.  The side efffects of her chemo is that her nerves are shot - she can't really grip with her arms and her feet almost cannot hold her weight.  However, we're all grateful and are not complaining.  Hope you're doing well.

Wow, that is some detailed information!  Wish we were there in the US!  Am a total rookie when it comes to chemo as I thought it was just one thing you take and it's all the same, little did I know you could get different cocktails of the stuff.  Am currently trying to obtain my aunt's medical records so we know more since her doctor doesn't want to explain it to us any further (not me personally but h...

Hi there, I actually meant to reply to your post but ended up posting on the main forum.  It's so encouraging to hear your story so thank you for sharing it.  We live in Sydney Australia and my auntie was diagnosed in Dec 2016 with stage 4 urachal cancer, had a 10-hr surgery before Christmas but her belly button is intact. She was left to recover and started chemo today. Just before chemo she was told that ...

Hi there, (hopefully am posting this on the right forum) My auntie has been diagnosed with urachal cancer in Sydney, Australia. She underwent a 10-hr surgery in Dec 2016 and has just been told that they can't do anything for her.  She started palliative chemo today.  Her surgeon is being very unhelpful with our questions and need a second opinion as to her treatment but have been told that it's very rare a...
